GSC 477_3880 = BeV17 new
variable
I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (BeV17),
which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new variable.
In each observing run typically 400 images are taken of several survey fields.
The frames are processed automatically.
Instruments:
CCD-camera:Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered)
Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain)
New variable star:
new BeV17 192436.4 N063127 (J2000) 12.3 12.7 (CCD)
comments:
BeV17: GSC 477 3880
Comparison star was for all measurements GSC 477 3656 (12.1 mag),
which was checked to be constant.
GSC 477 3880 seems to be a short-period variable,
type and period still unknown.
