I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (Brh V156), which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based search for new variables.

Instruments:
CCD-camera: Starlight Xpress SX (unfiltered)
Telescope: Celestron-8 (20 cm Schmidt-Cassegrain)

New variable star:
new Brh V156 21 15 37.4 +24 54 16 12.2-12.4 (CCD unfiltered)

comments: Brh V156: GSC 2190-1358

The comparison stars are GSC 2190-2234 (11.35 mag) and GSC 2190-1870 (12.37 mag)

The following observations and the ASAS data suggest an WUMa variable with a period of 0.52144 days.

The ASAS data are available at:  http://www.astrouw.edu.pl/~gp/asas/asas.html
